Kit Giveaway + Sew Mama Sew!

Sew Mama Sew is helping me and Andie kick off the release of our brand spankin' new book, Modern Designs for Classic Quilts!


Andie has put together kits to make this project, and I'm giving one away today!

  2. I've mostly done simple squares - anything from really large ones to tiny ones. It's been a long time since I've made a fancier block. I'd love to branch out!

  7. I like Log Cabin -- it's very versatile, and while it's just strips it can look quite elaborate depending on the fabrics used. Thank you for the nice giveaway! :)

  11. I like a pattern called Snowballs in Ohio -- or something like that! I made a quilt with that pattern in red and white, and it turned out beautiful.

  17. I love the churn dash block. It looks so awesome done in traditional/modern fabrics, and it is a great foil for applique.

  26. I LOVE giveaways! Of course I haven't won one yet...but who cares, the odds are that one day its going to happen! This is a great pattern and kit, super cute fabrics too! My favorite traditional block is the log cabin! But if you want to go super simple I also like broken dishes too! Thanks for the great blog and giveaway...I gotta figure out that whole tweeting thing... :)
